ERR SELECTS TVC SOLUTIONS TO DELIVER NEW RADIO OB VAN
ERR, Estonian Public Broadcasting and the country's largest media organization, entrusted TVC Solutions with the design and construction of its new Radio OB Van named Hõbehall. TVC Solutions demonstrated the engineering expertise, technical know - how, and skilled workforce required to create a vehicle tailored to ERR's specific operational needs.
Radio OB Van features a fully customized coachbuilding, unique interior design and specialized technological solutions developed to support demanding live radio production. Every aspect of the vehicle has been engineered to ensure best acoustic parameters, functionality, operator comfort and long-term reliability. Following the proven design philosophy of previous TVC Solutions projects, the Radio OB Van offers rapid deployment with fully electric self-leveling system, intuitive operation, simplified maintenance.
One of the Radio OB Van most distinctive features is its exceptionally efficient use of internal space. Despite its compact dimensions, the Radio OB Van accommodates three acoustically separated operational zones:
- Audio Control Room will accommodate at least three (3) workplaces for Sound Supervisor, Sound Engineer and Producer.
- Radio Studio will accommodate one (1) workplace for Host and four (4) Guests
- Storage and Equipment Room have installed two (2) 19” equipment racks and enough space for movable equipment.
Both Audio Control and Radio rooms benefit from enhanced sound insulation and acoustic treatment, providing best environment for critical audio production like musical events, theatrical performances and live open-air events. Audio Control Room has no active air conditioning elements and whole ceiling is designed to reduce air flow noise level.
Manually sliding out platforms with integrated ladders interconnects Audio Control and Storage rooms and enables people to walk from door to door without using the stairs.
